I've been away from the DG for a couple of years now, but back now refreshed and interested to hear what has been going on in the world of IH. Don't have much time for forums generally now, so may well dip in and out quite a bit, but it's nice to see some familiar names on here. I think my user name was SaraK before - but am so senile now that I can't remember! ;D Been through rather a horrid year or so recently - I had my old boy Jo PTS in September last year, and my mare Cariad has just had 12 months of lameness treatment on and off which (fingers crossed) seems to have been resolved with some IRAP treatment at Newmarket. Despite being sound now in front, she developed a hind leg lameness 2 months ago and the vet is coming out at the end of this month to re-assess her. I'm hoping I can start bringing her back in to work and get out and about a bit with her later this year. I have a rather bolshy gelding on loan at the moment, and although in some respects he is lovely, he is throwing a few too many challenges my way to consider keeping him long term. The latest is that he is refusing to load in my newly purchased lorry. Grrrrrr! So - what's been happening whilst I've been away??

Ha-ha Louise! I knew someone would remember! ;D Kate - I'm in Colchester, Essex. Where abouts are you? I'll find out about Cariad next Saturday when the vet is due out to reassess her. Fingers crossed. Things have not been going well generally, so I really need something to go right for a change! Henry (loan gelding) is going back the following weekend - just as long as we can get him in the lorry! My instructor is coming to help - apparently she has a 100% success rate loading - let's hope he doesn't break her record!
