So glad to hear you're finally here! When we moved down here we didn't have kitchen for 6 monhts (we were doing the house up..)and lived on microwave meals, or meals cooked in slow cooker or steamer! Don't tell me about boxes, still after 5-6 years I have 1 or 2 in the loft unpacked, might be brave and see what treasures they actually contain If you ever Newton Abbot way pop in and say hello and I'm sure we can find you a horse to scratch too!

Lol I've been up nearly ever day to stare at foals!! Amazed I havn't filled the lounge with them ha ha. Yes the move was very rushed and poorly planned, just the way it should be lol, and everything is working out so well I have to keep pinching myself!
Jennifire I've been to Newton Abbot about 5 times already (buying cheap crap at Trago ROFL) let me know where you are and i'll come bug you!!!
This is just going to be the perfect place for my girls to grow up, so excited about every day it makes my heart sing to see them running free on the moor, bumping there chins and falling in streams, doing all the stuff kids should be, instead of watching out for broken glass and syringes sigh. I really didn't think where we lived before was that bad.....until we got here lol!! No contest!

I remember sitting in my parents car when we moved from Suffolk thinking 'omg, I'm gonna marry a farmer!!' I was 14 at the time and 'tried' lots of different professions (if you get what I mean!) and married a darn blue collar worker!! I was so hoping for muscles and acreage!!!

He is at Bovey castle, it is SOOOOOO posh, I feel very scruffy up there, he's head chef of the bistro and loving it. I got a great massage at the fancy spa as my birthday present last friday (cuz he gets a discount lol) I felt very rich and famous ha ha. Average room price is £500 a night EEEEEK, that's a months rent !!!! Sky sports were up there last week covering the golf too.
I am totally in love with Dartmoor, I think my ancestors must have been from here lol, feels like coming home!
