March, as always, has been a busy month. For once though, I managed to get out and have some fun for myself (as opposed to fun through work, which I get every day!). It did of course still involve horses! I've realised over the past few months (thank you Kelly for getting me thinking in your usual thought provoking way!) that I'm really missing doing things with my own horses, and doing something for myself rather than for other people. That doesn't mean that I want to do any less for other people, just that I wish there was more time available! I've spent several years basically training and working hard to get myself to the place I'm at in life right now, and I feel it's time to make the most of it for a while! So this summer, I'm determined I'm going to address that work-life balance, and figure out how to spend some more time with my own horse, and riding Marlon, the spotty boy you can see in this picture (hopefully, if the attachment works!). We went on a fun ride at Bissell Wood in Worcestershire, and it was sooooo good to be out relaxing for a day with a wonderful horse and some great company (thanks Karen!). Will keep you updated!
