Thanks il look that up. Im not too worries about being a member of bhs tbh its just the insurance im after :-)
i guess tho that my views on parelli and bhs would prove more if i was a member rather than not being.

World Horse Welfare (I think it is life membership) but you get the third party liability insurance at the same time as helping horses everywhere. Not a bad deal - oh, and you can gift your horses to them in your will as well, in case anything happens to you and your executors don't have a clue about them, like mine.

I like the sound of that, Jill. Will look that up. I'm thinking again about BHS because of their seeming support of Parelli. If I do go elsewhere I will email them and tell them precisely why.

Check your household insurance, you may well be already covered on that.

Just posted on other thread www.worldhorsewelfare.org/you-help/membershipIf you compete BE I think and BD membership give you similar cover prob BS as well but only WHW supports Welfare Riding Club membership only covers you attending organised events not 365 days a year

EnduranceGB offer third party insurance with their membership and so I won't be joining the BHS this year.

I think I may well be joining the British Driving Association, although I don't drive, but in these days when you have to want the pennies, they appear to offer better value on first glance.

Il have a glance at that one too lynn. The WHW is £52 a year and covers for same as BHS Gold at £59 a year. Also personal preference i would rather read about WHW work, and i dont compete within the BHS or take part in any courses so that part isnt of advantage to me
