I use a flexitree which sounds like it is along similar lines as the self adjusting (though i havent looked in depth on SA ones) www.genuinetrekkersaddles.com/admiraldressage.htmlVery different in terms of price lol, and my horse who is extremely vocal re. saddles loves it!! Goes brilliantly in it and doesnt refuse to have it on her back-her approval is good enough for me but would love to hear heathers opinion on these types of saddles.

you are so right Heather, and sadly even expensive saddles can be damaging (I have seen a Jaguar saddle which was twisted - owner had spent a fortune on 'nothing but the best for her horse', who then had all sorts of problems and was seeing physio's etc weekly.)
