My girls are on Simple Systems feed usually, but because of the weather they couldn't deliver this week and I went to the local feed shop to try to find something similar to Luciecobs (ie high fibre, low sugar, no cereals) and this was the only feed I could find that wasn't caked in molasses or full of cr*p ;D The girls love it! I will be going back to Luciecobs as they are much more economical, but I am thinking of keeping a bag of this to take to shows/endurance rides as it is so easy to prepare and they seem to really enjoy it. Anybody feed it regularly? Feedback appreciated. Thanks

I have fed mine on it for a few months now and Izzy (17yo arab)has ad lib hay at present one pint jug of 16+ and about 2-3 pints of slopy fast fibre is looking very well on it the other 2 just get a spoonful to have multi vits in and i swer if there was a pattern on the feed bowl it would be licked of lol
I know some people are not happy with the garlic in it.Only reason i started using it was because my stockist ran out of speedibeet but i havent looked back

I have a bag my neighbour bought for her pony and he wouldn't touch it. Sabria is working her way thorough it TBH her total hay replacer feed has a variety of non sugar/cereal feeds but the main ones are Alfabeet (Dengie) Speedibeet and grass nuts, with also Top Spec Cool Condition. She has two big tubs full a day and is holding her weight on it at the age of 31. I did use SS last year but I would rather get feeds as and when rather than having to order, and I can get all of the above locally.

Thanks xx SS have always been brilliant up until now, I was a bit miffed about the non-delivery. Luckily mine are adaptable and don't suffer adverse effects from feed changes, otherwise I'd be buggered as they can't deliver til after Christmas!! We do have a 'local' stockist but a) in this weather and heavy traffic it would be a 3 hr round trip and b) they always seem to have run out of whatever I want . I will keep a bag of FF for emergencies from now on.

All mine love it and my TB who lives out with the rest is doing very well on it. Mine are barefoot and I'm very aware of avoiding molasses etc so this stuff is brilliant. My livery feeds it to her two oldies who also live out and they are too doing very well, they all love it!

I had a few samples to try and my roughty toughty natives thought they had caviar in their bowls.
I use Speedibeet usually and my mare actually closes her eyes when she eats that but F & F caused her to dance around the food bowl she was that excited - LOL
Thumbs up from me but haven't actually bought any yet as have half a bag of Speedibeet to use up first.

I have fed Regal (15.2 arab cross) and Jassmine (10hh Section A) on it for around 12 months now, they absolutely love it and lick the bowl clean, I love the fact it has a full compliment of vitamins in it so there is no messing about with it.

Warm runny Fast Fibre mash in the morning and evening here... perfect for keeping the water intake up with a handful of HiFi Mollasses free to make it more interesting

I have recently started feeding it as a hot mash in this cold weather! Mine find it delicious

Do you have to soak it for long?
How long (roughly!) does a bag last for one horse?

Soak for 30 seconds in warm water and 1 min in cold... but if you make up earlier make it slightly runnier as it carries on absorbing over time It is a 20kg bag and I feed Shadow (chunky 13.3hh) 1kg a day (600g at night and 400g in the morning) as well as his hay.

I have been using it after several years with SS. I was very angry after buying three rubbish bales of LucieStalks and being offered no replacement or refund so I started looking for alternatives.
HiFi and AlfaA have gone molasses free at exactly the right moment in time for me and Fast Fibre is great! You can stick FF in with SpeediBeet and put hot water on the lot which saves messing about and the girls love it.

I have been using it for about 6 months now and mine love it. He can be a bit fussy sometimes but he scoffs it every day. I have been making it with warm water in this weather and I add some Alfa A and pasture mix to it.
It is a good way to get water in them especially in the summer when you are at shows and it is very hot and you have a horse that won't drink water.
