For me it was the reinforcement of how much my Pony loves her home.
She went to wales for 5 months and lost all her condition, was generally miserable and had no sparkle in her eye!! A few weeks back home its like shes never left. Weight straight back on and she's back to her polite but mischievous ways.
And mostly the point when my friends 7 year old daughter rode her on her own!!

Lots of high points to celebrate this year. My main one was starting Jasmine in the summer and doing a bit of gentle hacking before turning her away for the winter. She is 4 on Christmas Day and was a BOGOF foalie (we rescued mum, 2 months later found she was in foal) She has been so good, thanks to her 'nanny', my friend's cob, Zac. Blaze qualified for the cob class at Royal London Show. We couldn't afford to go ;D, but qualifying was reward enough. And my daughter got 2 A*, an A and a B in her A levels and is now studying Biology at University of Birmingham. All in all a good year for us Attachments:

Plus I have just made a new friend down the road from me, to do endurance with next year. And my son has bought me a new bridle for Christmas! How lucky am I?

Plus I have just made a new friend down the road from me, to do endurance with next year. And my son has bought me a new bridle for Christmas! How lucky am I? Would that be me then?! Yes, it was lovely to meet you and hope next season goes really well. Highlights for me: 1. Getting Marjorie from a horse who bucked and refused to leave the yard to this: radphoto.co.uk/20100703WindsorStatueW/imagepages/image856.html2. Marygold being a superstar and remaining sound all year: radphoto.co.uk/20100703WindsorStatueW/imagepages/image855.html3. Running my first EGB ride. It was terrifying and many, many things went wrong but I did enjoy it!!! Generally though 2010 has been a shockin year for me and I can't wait to see the back of it.

I had some excellent times this year horse wise this year, one of the highlights was meet Zoe off here who has helped me get my horse back to the gent he knows he wants to be! I have also moved to the most wonderful yard and both me and my boy couldn't be happier! On a personal level, I am with arabiangem and am very much looking forward to 2011!!

Taking on an injured ex racehorse has been an 'up' for me. He was very sore, nervous and skinny when he arrived, and 4 months later he's a much happier boy. Still got a long way to go,and many months of walking out quietly, but he's making progress His name is Norman ( not very racehorse like!!)

Roxy - managing to behave herself showing and even wearing a pelham (previously something that'd have the toys right out of the pram), she was so well behaved she even did some classes with children from the yard. She used to be a total idiot at shows. Did novice dressage, got medium trot and didn't disgrace ourselves. Mia - Back in work after her latest sicknote and actually sort of looks like a posh pony, or would after a bath . She's behaving herself brilliantly hacking out, even when cantering and bombing around having fun, I can even get on her completely on my own (previously had some issues around mounting and first moving off) and go for a short hack on her own We went showing and got a 2nd and 4th out of quite a few more than 2 and 4 ;D. First go at dressage and got 4th and 55% (1% more than YO's posh sports horse, not smug at all hehe) when I would have been happy with surviving Generally being sweet and easy to handle. Seems she's finally over the Kevins stage ;D Jay - was just learning to trot with a rider this time last year, now does walk, trot, canter, bombing around and has started jumping and is on loan to two teenagers.
