My old toothless mare has grass nuts and D&H 16+ cubes soaked into a paste. The other two fatties have half a handful of fibregy with a vit supplement plus the Exmoor gets Wendals Herbs Itch Stop.

All my ponies are natives and therefore good doers. The oldies get a basic feed of dengy hi-fi lite and unmolassed sugar beet to put their supplements in. One has Cushings and poor feet, so he gets 50g micronised linseed, biotin, magnesium oxide, pergolide and Top Spec balancer, but still looks thin. The youngsters get a basic feed of dengy hi-fi orginal, Spillers H & P nuts and molassed sugar beet. Tor has kwikbeet as he doesn't like the molassed sugarbeet yet, and he's turning into a barrel. They all get salt, a vitamin and mineral supplement and graze grass as well. The amount of dengy hi-fi varies form pony to pony, depending on how fast they eat, I aim for them all to finish at the same time!

Another fan of Top Spec.
started using it a few years ago for lami ponies and never looked back. when i got my welsh D i put him on the comprehensive balancer and he looks so good on it. Mix it with Dengi hi-fi manly because the bigger bag lasts longer then top it up in winter with sugar beet and thats about it. Its so quick and easy to feed.

I have fed SS since they first started, but they are getting quite pricey and the high fibre and oil and sugar free options have now become mainstream. So this year I have been feeding Calm and Condition to one horse and he loves it, choses it over anything else I find to tempt him with in the vetgates. He has done so well on it all of my gang are on Calm and Condition or Ride and Relax and I will probably try Power and Performance for next year's endurance. I have a two year old, a twenty three year old who still does endurance, an eleven year old endurance part bred Welsh and a Quarter horse with PSSM. They can all use these feeds.

My arab mare gets Winergy Senior - she's not a senior (she's 8!) but this is the one in their range that suited her best. Prior to that, she was having alfa oil, linseed, beet, and top spec - later replaced the top spec with naf haylage balancer as she had shown some signs of ulcer discomfort. But then in Feb this year we were accepted onto the wienrgy trial and haven't looked back since! She looks - and feels - fantastic on it, and I won't feed her anything else now.
My two welshies have dengie hi fi - good doer for the fatty welsh a with naf slimline supplement - just a token feed for her really to ensure she gets her vits and mins. My welsh B needed a bit of feeding up but is now a good weight. I am thinking of trying the new dengie molases free alfalfa for her - ideally she'd be on the winergy senior too, just in smaller quantities, but she turned her nose up at it. I'll keep trying tho - she's still settling in here and has a bit of a funny attitude to new things at times! But she loves her dengie chop, so at the moment she has that with a broad spectrum vit/min supplement.

Tic is such a good doer that I have to be careful of her!!! She is just on low-cal balancer and haylage, she only has grass in spring and summer but have to put a grazing muzzle on her or she gets too fat!!!

Roxy has sugarbeet, Leigh's senior chaff (not senior, it's just nice chaff) and a tiny bit of Fricker's all-rounder mix. Mia has more sugarbeet and chaff and a tiny bit of mix, and also has soya oil, linseed and selenavite E.

Dengie hi-fi lite and bailey's lo-cal. Poor Jos, he feels very hard done by!! He does look really well though, better coat, brighter eye, and happier all round.

Mine was on TS top chop lite and their lite balancer and some high fibre nuts (soaked to stir supps into). Since I stopped the balancer he's been much calmer.
He's actually quite trim now so I've just changed to Alfa-A-Oil for the winter - it's got no mollasses and has oil and vit e added. I've ordered some linseed in case he needs more condition when he's eaten the grass down and it'll give him more vits and minerals.
Oh and his supps are MagOx powder and yea-sacc.

I used to give my youngster Calm and Condition but I am sure he is better since I changed him to Top Spec. He just has balancer, Lite chaff and a carrot or two. Its what I was already feeding the small ponies but I wasn't sure it was enough for a young growing horse but he is putting on weight (and growing) and is fine. They all have pink salt rocks.

Mine (Warmblood) has hay, grass when it is about, TopSpec AntiLam, salt and Mighty Mag. that's it. She is doing really well on it.

Dengie molasses free hifi, kwik beet (phasing that out though due to freezing problems and no running water at field lol) and Baileys no.1 for the old girl

TB Top Spec Fully Comp Balancer & Hi Fi Lite, TBX Top Spec Lite & Hi Fi Lite. Grass and hay. Was thinking about changing to the Dengie Molasses Free, or Top Spec one but nobody seems to stock it round here.

The native ponies are living out on what is left of the grass, topped up with some hay.....bless 'em! Although there is also always a mineral lick freely available. The ISH and Hannovarian X are both on Allen & Page Calm and Condition (absolutley brilliant stuff) with Molichaff and some garlic/codlivine supplement (+ ad lib hay, and grazing ).
