It's been a frantic few months with lots of work and all of it interesting. I get inordinately fond of all my equine clients and have recently worked with a NF mare called Anna. She was in desperate need of a foot trim but wasn't even happy to have a headcollar on. At 10 years old she could have been really tricky but once I had got my trusty feather duster out she practically fell into my arms and from then on it was fairly plain sailing. Just four days later she had her feet trimmed by a brilliant farrier called Matt Taylor who was just as patient with her. She might have been sore for a little while but at least she was out of trouble. Her elderly owners were so relieved and have asked me to go back in two weeks to keep the communication going and have already booked Matt for six weeks time.
