Bryony - Hope you feel better soon.
Without sounding completely unsympathetic can we not still do a gathering on Thursday and then arrange something at a later date too when Bryony can hopefully make it? I'd been holding the date in my diary and was really looking forward to it. Looks like there were a few who could make something around the Guildford area (Me, Pauline, Zoe, auburnalia, ellijay, blueali, jebeth, Delboy and possibly Amelia).

Have met people at The Swan in Ash Vale before. Others probably know the area better than me.

As there's not been much in the way of response and the clock is ticking I think it's probably best if we agree to defer this one to a later date. Might get to meet some of you at the Garden Party instead.

What about making a meet up one weekend - either in the day or in the evening - as I'd struggle to make a weekday evening meet up, what with work and the horse to sort out after, but would love to meet up with people again

I'd really like to meet up with some like minded peeps. I'm near Reigate but can drive to wherever depending on when it is. I agree that a weekend meet up is probably easiest especially if it's a bit of a drive

I am in Bracknell so not that far away. A weekend would suit me better as well

I'm free this saturday, or Friday 23rd, or I will be at the show at Pachesham EC on 1st August. Then maybe 15th August. I could also do a Sunday evening, any except 1st and 8th August.

How would the last weekend in August suit people? Either day-time or evening (but I can't do the Friday night or early Saturday morning - I'm at the Edenbridge and Oxted ball Friday night & somehow have to get up early enough for the farrier the Saturday morning ;D )

I'm at the WES National show that weekend, I think it is a big show weekend and a bank holiday so many people may be away.

Oh, I didn't realise it was a bank holiday - how daft of me!
How about the weekend after that?

Weekend after that would be fine by me depending on whether I have the kids
