Most of you will have been reading the trials and tribulations that Bryony has been having with Raz over the past few months.
Raz has been dogged by physical problems, and they were on a yard with bullying people and their bullying horse. Raz was hard to catch, and was very unhappy - both with other horses and people.
Due to a blessing in disguise, Bryony and Raz had to leave the yard that they were on, and are now at a lovely, peaceful, happy yard. Raz has recovered from her injuries, is no longer exhibiting gastric ulcer symptoms, and is a lovely chilled little horselett
Bryony asked me over to give her some moral support whilst she took Raz out long lining in the woods around the yard.
Here is the horse who wouldn't be caught .........
And the one who used to bite Bryony's head off when the girth was done up ......
;D ;D
We ditched the saddle in the end though because Raz has lost so much condition over the past few months due to all the stress that she has been under.
Raz was a star, even when we had bouncy dogs jumping up at us, horses going right past on the narrow track, joggers, and horses belting up and down the fence line as we walked past. In fact the only time I had to take over from Bryony was when Raz decided to take a short cut down a very steep bank to the track below, and when she decided she wanted to snuffle a horse standing with it's head over a barbed wire fence. Other than that, they both did sooooo well ;D
"You aren't REALLY taking a photo are you???"
"What you doing down there? Ooooo, grass ........."
"What's going on over there?"
"Dumdeedumdeedum ..........."
Pretty girlie!
