Full livery generally means that it's all in so I would call that part livery, Jaydurh. I used to pay £48 per week part livery when I was away working. I provided bedding and feed, YO provided haylage, mucked out, turned out, changed rugs if necessary, checked feet, fed and watered. The horse was turned out for daylight hours so in the winter that was usually from around 8.00a.m. to 3.30p.m. All the horses turned out were checked at least twice a day.

I wouldn't pay more than £55-60 a week unless it included bedding. While there are some positives to what you are offering, you aren't looking for just someone to fill a space, you have specific requirements as you will be sharing your 'home' with them.
You are offering turnout, but with no direct company- many will not 'go' for this. Adlib hay within reason?- What restrictions would you put on it? Presumably not allowed to be at yard before or after certain times if it is your home? What rules regarding treatment/management of horse on yard? IH/barefoot only? Limited hacking companions available to the livery- presumably just you and your horses there?
I personally wouldn't be happy with someone I didn't know very well either exercising or massaging my horse, so I would have those as optional extras to be paid for separately.

Around 2 years age I was looking at full livery options and I found prices ranged from 55-90 pounds per week. This included bedding, various types and hay/haylage but some didn't include hard feed. None of these prices included exercise apart from putting horse on horse walker when they were kept in. All had some restriction on winter turnout ranging from alternate days to being kept in for days/weeks.
Perhaps you could mention the option of exercise if people wanted it. I know I would value the option of massage from a qualified therapist as both my pony and I have benefited from this. HTH

Some interesting points here. Now I have never been on a yard, so I don't know what would be more attractive to prospective clients, individual paddocks, being turned out in paddocks as a herd, or as a herd on a track system. All three are a possibility (but not all at once if you see what I mean). I guess when I say ad-lib hay within reason, I am suggesting that for example stuffing three bales of hay down a horse every day, might call for an extra charge. As for hacking companions, well I don't think that is really a YO's remit to provide hacking companions, and if you move to a yard where there are only two liveries, your options are going to be limited! As for hours when people can visit the yard, I would say between 6am and 9 pm would be reasonable. Obviously it would be IH friendly, but I couldn't advertise it as an IH yard as I have no IH qualifications (although, as this is a future project, that could be a possibility). Similarly, above adequate standards of care/behaviour, I am not sure what 'rules' a YO could impose on a person's treatment of their horse, although I am willing to be guided on this. Interesting thoughts though folks, keep'em coming!

I pay £290 pcm for a very similar set up for 5 day full livery, DIY at weekends. Includes all bedding, 1 large haylage net per night and hard feed of choice. No exercising included.

Now that is a thought. Is the idea of full livery Mon to Fri, with the option of DIY at the weekend, something that people might consider particularly attractive?

I wasn't suggesting that it was up to you to provide hacking companions but you do need to consider it as a negative point and may turn people away, not all.. but some. It can become a very boring and lonely place if there is very limited company. You can aim it towards IH friendly/tolerant people. Which is probably the best way forward as there is nothing worse than having someone who is a total opposite keeping their horse with yours, you will clash on many levels. You also need to consider what you do if/when you go on holiday/are ill/get injured. Just so that you can assure potential liveries that you have thought of every problem.

Ashleigh, 5 day full is brilliant for me. I would love to do DIY, but it would be very difficult for me during the week, so I get the peace of mind knowing he's looked after during the week even if I can't get there, but I get to look after him at weekends.
