A friend on another forum suggested this, thought it was a great idea! Lets see your 2009 in piccies!
This is mine,
Here is my year in piccies
Feb Trailblazers dressage - we qualified for the second round! Lloyd was just a superstar and tried his heart out for me,couldnt have asked for more
April we did some more dressage. Got our first ever 9 for this halt!
Then in May Smartie was pts. He was my friends horse, and Lloyds best mate. Cass had asked me to hold Smartie whilest it was happening, because she couldnt but she wanted someone he trusted to be there. It was the worst day of my life, but at least Smartie is not in pain anymore
Then June was our holiday! It was the best few days I have ever had! Going on the beach was the fulfilment of my lifetimes ambition! The fact that Lloyd was so totally freaked out, yet trusted my enough not to flip out makes me feel very humble.
'She wants me to go in where?!'
THen pretty much the rest of the summer was written off with injury. My physio at the time said he had a hip problem, but it took a second opinion to find it was actually a wither prob, then he was compensating for, which made his hips sore.
So he spent most of his time hanging out in the field!
Then in Sept Lloyd went barefoot. I have always wanted a barefoot horse, and it has only taken me 5 years to actually do it! He is coping magnificently!
In Sept I also started having lessons with Julia, who is a Spanish Classical instructor. She has completly changed my way of riding, and Lloyd is a changed horse. We not longer have big problems ridden, and he is chilled and happy.
Even Ruari has had a few rides!
