Murphy and Chevie both out 24/7. She has thick rug as she doesn't grow much of a coat. Murphy is hairy but has a rain sheet on as i was fed up chipping off the mud! Small feed each day and plenty of hay as the grass is frozen solid. Nice warm shelter with lots of bedding they both use. Our water trough isn't refilling as its all frozen so have been topping it up with water from home. It will soon pass then back to the mud!

Mine have the option to choose what they want. They aren't rugged and have a concrete rubber matted shelter to stand/lie in if they want. Take the hassle out of me deciding! The ground is frozen poached in the field so they are spending most time by the shelter. Attachments:

Mine, an arab and an Exmoor, are both out, arab is rugged and they have a field shelter but it's only a little one, more like a bus shelter.
They seem to be coping with the weather OK, what concerns me is the ground which has frozen into fetlock shattering peaks and troughs. Both of mine have good bare feet, but even the Exmoor is struggling to get about, and his feet are diamond hard.
