I had a balance saddle for my cob which I used on my Arab as well. Shortly after I got her she spooked and I ended up on the deck. I changed it for a Fitform treeless and haven't looked back. I lost money on selling the Balance saddle back to the agent. I always found it slipped but was OK once in the saddle and very comfortable. Attachments:

"blinking" brilliant saddles! not always easy to ride in - especially since they allow the horse to really move! known one family who prefered to put horse back into a saddle they could ride in, rather than keep on with a saddle there horse could really perform in....sadly - therefore - didn't teach them anymore! my tb - fine- ish - in a 7times xwide and far happier - a warmblood/cob/shire etc would maybe need wider! you can pick one up on ebay once you've had a fitter out to tell you how wide you need and get them to come and check it!
