This is Jimmy. He's 16h, 12 years old and has been with us for 3 years. He's being ridden in the photo by Andy, hubby. This is their first ever jumping comp that they did at the weekend. Just a clear round jumping but we are over the moon because he came to us with a lot of problems. He's turned into a really nice all rounder. I'd trust him with anyone now. He's had a lot of health problems which slowed down fixing the behavioural issues but 'touching wood' we finally cracked everything last year and he's going from strength to strength. He had only ever been used for gallopping round the countryside before we got him (his owner sold him to buy a motorbike). And he had terrible separation anxiety. He had always lived with one mare and when they were split up and sold, he then bonded very strongly to one of my horses on arriving here. He would change from a 100% horse to a monster if they were split up. It was not just a problem to leave him in the field on his own but even to try and take him away and do something with him. It's taken a long time and a lot of work but last weekend we took him to his first show on his own and he was a superstar. Attachments:
