If you haven't booked for this, book now! Catrin and what she does is facinating. I did her course at the weekend and it is amazing what anyone can pick up doing readings, obviously she has been doing this for a while and the things she can tell you is amazing. Book now, it really is worth it and such a good cause. Good luck.

Can someone please tell me where Cardigan is? West Wales, on the coast, halfway down, just below Aberystwyth. Thank you Kathy for the lovely comments.

Catherine, I just think we owe it to our animals to help and understand them in any way we can.

I would really like to do this but would need to share some travelling with someone! I'd be coming from M4/South Wales area and could provide a stop over if necessary!

oh can i just ask one thing tho, is this hands on healing reiki? or am i getting confuzzeled? Yes, I include a hand attunement that enables people to use Reiki healing on themselves, their family/animals/plants/food, but not charge others to give a Reiki treatment, for that you need to do a Reiki 1 course at least. For people already attuned to Reiki, I show hand positions and how to scan a horse as well as how to deal with wild or dangerous animals.

We had six people on the day and the experience was an amazing one for all of us. Two of the VHS staff on the course were exceptional with the verifiable information they picked up from the horses in the photos people brought and from my dog, whom they didn't know. Everyone else surprised themselves too, as the information they were picking up from the horses was confirmed by Julianne and Vicki, the helper who couldn't take part, as she had to work in the yard on the day! I was stunned at Jez the completely blind horse, who had another oldie, Melody, as his 'guide horse.' He trusted his guide completely and it didn't bother him at all that he was blind. Julianne asked if he had any special requests, his reply, "No perfumed deodorant, please," accompanied by an image of a young man spraying himself with Linx deodorant. Julianne knew exactly which helper Jez meant. Jez explained that he knew everyone by their unique smell, which helped him know their precise location too. If someone was wearing perfume, he got confused, as they moved, they were surrounded by a big area of their smell and he couldn't tell in which part of the 'cloud' they were. "I don't want to knock him over, so it's better if he smells like a proper boy that I can see," Jez adds. You can see Jez and Melody if you go to www.veteran-horse-society.co.uk/ click on VHS Horses in the links on the left, then click on Jerry and Melody. Another amazing horse was Tony, to see him click on Anthony. He was pleased to have come through the summer and glad to see the back of the flies because of his sarcoids, which had left him blind on the near side. He told me he had a 'Seeing Eye Girl', Charlotte his helper, who did the workshop. Charlotte, of course, leads Tony on his left, so he's fine, as he can see out on the right. If you ever get the chance, make that trip to Cardigan. The horses, Julianne and the helpers are a true inspiration to make the world a better place in whatever way we can. VHS isn't easy to find as Sat Nav takes you to the new neighbours at the farm down the parallel track, but once you get to those breathtaking sea views and see those amazing old horses, the long journey pales into insignificance, the place really is awe inspiring.

wow Catrin, that sounds amazing! I will get myself on one of these courses as soon as I can afford it, the thought of being able to 'KNOW' that you are doing what is right rather than what you think is right for your horses is incredible. Well done!
