7yo Icelandic gelding, easy keeper, currently at good (slim) weight
He's ridden 5-6 times a week, an hour's hack on average. Some schooling.
He's turned out 24/7 and gets hay in the winter (no exact amount as in field with others), restricted pasture in the summer (muzzle as needed, strip grazing). He gets about 300g of Happy Hoof as a carrier for is custom supplement which includes lysine, loose salt, magnesium oxide, seaweed (for iodine), zinc, copper, selenium. In the winter, stabilized linseed and vitamin E will be added. Amounts are based on forage analysis to balance what's already in the pasture/hay.

Highland Pony - sparse grazing (extra hay available), in at night with small holed haynets, sometimes soaked, depending on hay, worked 6-7 days a week. Fed on shredded soaked hay in 2 small feeds because his companion needs feeds, and to give his supplements: D&H mobility herbs, selenavite, yea-sacc, biotin/methionine supplement. Arab/cob x - on same grazing because I only have 2 horses, in at night with liberal quanitities of hay, but needs more calories (of the non-heating kind!), so has 2 feeds of speedibeet with Hi Fi and Spillers hi fibre cubes, splash of linseed oil, D&H Placid herbs, selenavite + yea-sacc. Both horses have access to lamin-shield licks and other mineral licks (no molassed, only the 'rock' kind). Also use Devil's claw and milk thistle supplements sometimes.

Sid 10 year old Hanoverian (actually mostly TB) loses weight easily. At the moment out overnight in a field with reasonable amount of grass. Has breakfast and supper the same, 1 scoop of Bailey's Endurance Mix, 1 scoop Alfa A oil, 1 scoop speedibeet(very sloppy) plus Magnitude daily and Linseed oil every 3rd day or so. He's also on ad - lib haylage. Any less than this and he drops weight as you look at him. He's in light to medium work depending on my joints and younger rider availability!

Lloyd, 18hh Hanovarianx Clydesdale. He weighs around 750kg and is perfect weight at the mo.
He is laminitic, as is on a fairly bare paddock. I move the fence every couple of days, so he has enough to be eating, but not gorging, he lives out.
He gets a scoop of Alfa A lite and 4 mugs of baileys Local balancer. Also 1 scoop of glucosamine.
He is in medium work, 5/6 days a week

We have six. Five NFs and one retired Section D x Arab. Apart from the two two year olds, they are all good doers on sparse grazing, with mixed native hedgerow plants and overhanging trees to browse.
The adults all have a small evening feed of Badminton Alfa Lite plus NAF all purpose vitamin and mineral supplement. They each have a few handfuls of hay which is adjusted according to their condition.
Freddie and Leo, the two year olds, have a feed of Badminton Alfalfa plus NAF Surelimb supplement and a splash of sunflower oil in the winter. Leo, who had a broken upper jaw and has upper incisors missing, gets some Spillers conditioning cubes in his feed as he finds it hard to graze as effectively as a pony with a full set of teeth. He was losing condition in the winter but this extra feed has built him up to a good weight for a growing youngster.
When the young ones were foals, one was an orphan and one was neglected and undernourished when we took them on. Simple Systems feeds (particularly soaked spring grass nuts) were fed with powdered foal milk in a thick green soup. Jane Van Lennep was very helpful with advice in the early stages.
We like SS feeds but found delivery difficult and the costs were rising, so have found good mollasses free feed from Badminton Feeds who are based just up the road from us in Fordingbridge.

I am not doing too much at the moment with my mare, if her work is upped then so is her feed and it gets properly weighed.
In the summer: Gets muzzled during the day 9.00 - 6.00pm 1 x handful of Dengie good-doer 1 x capful of Bluechip Kalmer 1 x mug of Bluechip Balancer 1 x handful spillers hi fibre cubes
In the winter months I also give a small amount of warm speedi-beet and hay.

Sunny is a 14.1, 19yr old PBA mare. She is in lightish work, ridden approx 5 times a week normally either 30 mins schooling or an hours hack (a little bit of jumping here and there) but sometimes a longer hack on weekends.
Sunny is out at night on not very good grass. She has ad-lib fairly good quality hay during the day when she's in
She has 2 tiny feeds a day just so she thinks she's getting something when the others are fed, a handful of Safe&Sound and a handful of pasture mix.
I used to spend a fortune on Simple Systems forage and expensive balancers but she looks and goes just as well on her current diet as she did on those!
