Would the 0 refer to penalties maybe?

I made the same mistake for the rein back and bridge - both times as soon as I thought we'd finished I took my focus off that object and went on to the next thing - big mistake! That tiny trot stride at the bridge cost me 10 points! I'll make sure I concentrate longer next year! (I'm already excited about next year!)

How do they penalise a horse that refuses? Surely if a little trot stride means you get 0 score one that refuses must be worse?

In fairness it is supposed to be the 'majority of the obstacle in pace other than walk' but I expect they were just being extra tough. Glad to see the breastplate came in handy!! Well done, you can add Trec Champion to your CV now x x x (It depends on the refusal, it can just lower your 'effectiveness' score, so if the horse needs a little encouragement to go over the bridge but then walks clamly then you'd get around a 6/7...don't ask me why, but that's what the rulebook says!)

Brilliant video, absolutely brilliant. Interesting that you went faster under the branches than in the practice, a flatter faster canter really worked. Well done.

Echo all above, I loved watching that video. I sat through the whole thing smiling to myself. You can feel the enjoyment of all those involved in the training and the event itself. x
