I've been doing a bit of thinking on this too, and hubby thinks it's a great idea..!
I was thinking of trying to make some moulds like they use to make bricks in the hot sun in Africa etc. I think that they are, like rj suggests, bottomless (as it were!).
I'll try and find a piccy for you...

Think you might be on to something with the bottomless idea Cokey and rj! I can feel a Poo Mould MkII coming on...... Another thing I thought about was trying one of the presses they sell to make bricks from soggy newspapers.....as the moisture content (sorry!) is a bit high and if I can squidge out some of it they might dry quicker. I think I've got far too much time on my hands to be honest!

I did think about them to gill, but I'm not sure I'd really want to squish it that much lol!
I think I'm going to try drying them on the staging in my greenhouse. It's like an oven in the summer....! Very excited!

It has a certain fascination doesn't it?! I showed the link to a colleague who thinks the photos very tasteful 'just like Weetabix' he reckoned. And I wrote a letter to my local rag today as someone was complaining about the amount of poo on the (country) roads around his house 'getting on his tyres & a danger to his kids'. Told him to get out there with his marigolds quick!

Hey, what's wrong with poo brick houses? Our house here in SW France is 200 years old and made from unfired bricks made from clay with animal manure and straw added to it. LOL In the olden days, they just used to bring the molds round to the building site, use the earth from the land directly on site and knock up a house. It's a brilliant insulator - walls are about 2ft thick and warm in winter but, most importantly, keeps the cool in in summer. Not to let your roof get a hole in it though as your house will melt. Hubby has made the mold but it looks HUGE to me! Will see how it goes this weekend. Love the Weetabix comment - will never look at Weetabix in the same light again now.

ROFLMAO about the letter to the newspaper too. That'll get the whinging codger up in arms if you suggest you might be using the dreadful poop as fuel!!

I'm watching like a hawk looking for a business opportunity! ;D
So if this works, Cokey probably already has a great name for her business!

Yup, that looks the business, Cokey. Not sure the knife manufacturer will let you get away with calling it a Stanley though.

lol, brings a whole new meaning to 'built like a brick-sh*t house'. We'll have to change the saying by swappin sh*t and brick around. Tee hee hee!
I think you'll get away with the name, Cokey, as you can't trademark a name, if the product is unrelated to others with the same name.
rj, if your cake tin has a loose bottom, have you tried feeding it Immodium?
