I agree the clips are too big to fit through the D rings on a roller, which is a tad annoying, but I just put the non-clip end through the D first. My lad is VERY good at standing still whilst I sort him out though.
Other than that I don't have a problem with the lines and longline with them a couple of times a week.

My roller is an Eclipse and the dees are plenty big enough for the clips to pass through.

I've got a pair of monty long lines for christmas and love them! Except for the annoying fact that the clip won't fit through the roller rings . I leave the lines trailing behind on the floor and have found that because they are heavier they don't get tangled up and trip me up like the cheaper lightweight skinny reins I had before.

yeah - i found that with the rollers. which - mostly, i just thread the other end through. but with a horse thats a bit awkward, i found it a bit inconvenient. i also fall over them but i think thats just me!
