She really IS solid SS3, you're right. She gets that from her mum, tho her dad was no lightweight. She will def be able to collect, elevate, and dance - it's just so natural to her. Lucky me! I'm glad you all like her (and the rabble!).

She's looking stunning, Varkie. How big do you expect she'll make?
I love the pictures of the little ones hooning around too!

Wow, very athletic! She looks great. Gazdag pings about like that too, but luckily hasn't yet shown any signs of doing it under saddle, phew!!! Your Shetlands are adorable, they look like a herd of teddies

Oooh I love the pic of Bree bouncing with all four feet of the floor. Funny as my friend and I were just discussing the same type of stallion for her Welsh mare today so we'll be watching eagerly to see how Bree comes along. I think she's lovely by the way.

Jenna - her dam is 14.3hh, and her sire 15hh. I was hoping she'd make 15hh, as that is the perfect height for me. But her sire is known to throw stock up to around 15.2hh, and I think Bree may go up to that too. pinkpony - PRE = Pura Raza Espagnol = Purebred Spanish Horse (what people used to consider an andalusian) HeatherL - I can honestly say it's been an excellent cross, and I would definitely do it again. Actually, I plan to do it again with my mare in another couple of years. But I do think you have to have the right mare & the right stallion, not just one of either breed. The stallion I used really complimented my mare. This is my mare: www.varkiesstud.co.uk/html/tia.htmlThis is the sire of my foal: www.varkiesstud.co.uk/html/lengueto_v.html
