-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hi guys, my freind is shortly about to loan a thoroughbred but there is a slight problem.. she is good on roads and is genarally good to ride most of the time but she has recently been out of work for 1 month and is fizzy when not road day to day , so how could we bring her back into work without her doing anything silly, she is 10 has jumped etc its just when she hasent benn road she likes to have alot of energy burt off her we do have a sandschool .. when riding a few weeks back she was pulling her head forward which pulls the reins out of my freinds hands and she started trotting she kept doing this and got her self that worked up she was sweating. how could this be halted she is currently road in a snaffle and i think she needs a stronger bit do you have any suggestions which would be the correct type as she can be a typical thoroughbred at times...
Also this horse had her front 2 shoes off about 3 week since and was fine before but since having them off she is very lame and can hardly walk on her front 2 legs this also looks painfull and hard for her to walk on she has been on bute since been like this and its done nothing! is there any suggestions or is there anyfeeds which can help or execise a bad idea ??
