Just had an email from charisses' loanee to say that they have to return her in january through no fault of her own but down to personal circumstances that i do understand. Now dont get me wrong, on one hand its great, but the not so good hand is that i am just re settling and there is no empty stable for her yet! never rains does it!!!!

Oh gaud how frustrating for you. She hasnt been there long has she? I think there are going to be more and more horses returned over the next year.

I'm sorry Mum. Enough is enough. I know you love to see her doing things but it is so unfair and unsettling for her to keep moving all the time!! I think it is much better that she is kept in the same place and unridden than moving homes all the time just for the sake of work and riding.
It would be a blessing in disguise for you as you would have another horse to go out with Asti so you don't have to worry about the others. Have a word with your YO and see what you can come up with. Surely at a push she could stay out 24/7 or go in the school overnight until a stable is freed up??

yes so true that i get my lovely charisse back. I only put her back out on loan, in july, because of my shoulder injury but goodness knows when a stable will come available! she, incidentally, finished the EGB season with a 80km under her belt , which is fab , and helped her loanee to come 2nd in one of the categories. ;D
