Gosh - THAT'S SUCH A COINCIDENCE - JUST BEEN READING ABOUT THE "DOMESTICATION" OF ZEBRAS AND IT SEEMS ITS PROBABLY MORE WIDESPREAD THAN WE REALIZE AND LETS FACE IT IF THEY CAN BE BROKEN TO RIDE AS A TEAM (AS PER THE rOTHSCHILD PICTURE - AND HE DROVE THEM THROUGH LONDON AND AT RACECOURSE PARADES ETC) THEY CAN'T BE TOTALLY INTRACTABLE. tHEY DON'T LOOK LIKE THEY'D MAKE A VERY COMFORTABLE RIDE AND i THINK YOU'D NEED TO LOOK INTO THE CONFORMATION BUT TO BE HONEST i WOULD LOVE ONE IN MY YARD.
fURTHER COINCIDENCE - SOMEONE JUST LEANT ME "RACING sTRIPES" TODAY - WEIRD!
PS SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS - HIT THE WRONG BUTTON SOMEWHERE!

well I have never really looked specifically at zebras although aware of them somewhere in the recessess ..... guess in principle riding / driving a "wild" animal is no different than with horses .... all those wild caught mustangs etc are prob no different really.. I dont like animals born in the wild being captured no matter the species. If the zebra was captive bred ............ I would be concerned more re the "method" of "breaking" and I suppose would rather these things happened to animals born in "captivity" that are used to human presence since birth. Guess its the society / times and what we are used to as well .......

I find that a bit sad... Zebra's are truely wild animals and should be left as such.... but no, man needs to conquer them as well!! To be fair horses were once wild animals werent they? as were dogs, cats etc. Im not agreeing with zebras being used like horses but just pointing that out. We dont know the circumstances maybe they have hand reared the little chap who knows. Hes very sweet looks quite content maybe he enjoys work so long as he is happy and well looked after that is all that matters. Its not like people are goin to take wild zebra and ride them is it bumble
