I ought to be sad but I'm actually really pleased to have finally got to the bottom of things with Dan. I knew there had to be something.
No good asking me the details(god a wish chiros would write everything down lol) but basically there is alot not right where he fractured his neck. She demonstrated a bit with her finger on either side of the vertebra and her fingers weren't level but there were several bits not how they should be. He is also very restricted in his movement there...he cant lift his head very high(from that bit obviously not his withers). There are a few other things going on further back but she wasn't worried about that as alto would be knock on effect from his poll damage.
She hasn't treated him yet as she wants to talk to the vet and try and find out what damage was done. Could be it would be better to leave it when he has learn to accommodate it. start messing around and we could end up with problems.
SO relieved feel like can breathe now....was beginning to think i was paranoid thinking something was wrong.
Good new is it's not going to make much difference anyway. She said he'll be fine with bit riding club etc but he'd never be able to do more advanced work. Which is why he started packing it in when doing more dressage.
and thats cool cos he came back to potter about and do bit prelim anyhow. She said if he is playing up first check I'm asking correctly and if am take it that he finds that difficult.
Phew relief, anyone want a chiro recommendation
