It's fab the way you lot on here are able to rescue these poor horses, like the French ones, I'd love to help but can't unfortunately, good job really or i'd have a yard full I think ;D

The transport is really not expensive as we are bringing home a lorry full - its going to cost about 300 euros per horse which is peanuts. Lets be realistic these horses have fabulous bloodlines - exceptional - E4000 for a very well bred youngster is nothing at all they are worth more but he must sell them.
Over here the gypsies are rich - they buy them as the tourists and hungarian like them for carriage horses, its so sad as the owner turned down a good offer for one stallion from the gypsies as he wants to sell them to good homes, its not expensive at all even with importing these horses are cheap

I used to loan a lipizzanner x highland and she was was a beauty.
I always wanted a lippi after her, if I had the spare cash I would.
I love them.

"Gasbag" is called Gazdag, which is Hungarian for wealthy. However Gem and GC decided that Gazdag is a silly word and have christened him Gasbag instead! ;D The 3-4 yo stallions would normally sell for about €7-8k, but the prices have been pushed right down by the need to sell them quickly owing to the closure of the stud. You don't normally get them at these prices!

Oh I am so jealous. If anyone wants to buy me one or loan me the money or wish to do a partnership thing etc I have the time and the space for one but not the ready cash at the moment as we all know the initial purchase is the small cost. I am envious of who ever got Goff as it was he I liked in the vids that Heather showed originally.
