I wanted some Panacur Equine Guard wormer for my lot, though that usually involves ordering 4/5 bottles of it at a time and the cheapest I've found in France is 30 euros a bottle. Anyway, Panacur Equine Guard is Fenbendazole 10% solution - and it just so happens that exactly the same is given to cattle only they sell it in bigger bottles and under a different name. Local chemist can order me some of this for 83 euros for a litre bottle TTC - a bit more than half of the cost of getting the horsey-version. Arrives in less than 24 hours and no postage costs. Marvellous!

Picked up the wormer - it's called..... drum roll.... Panacur Fenbendazole 10% and is listed as being for horses and cattle and is manufactured by Intervet. So it's the exact same thing as Panacur Equine Guard. The bottle has an expiry of 2011 so I reckon it could be a good buy even if you only have a couple of horses.

Blimey, well done Wendy!
I get my wormers from wormers-direct.co.uk, they only charge £0.50 extra per wormer to post to France.... but I don't think I can beat your price for Panacur.
Makes you mad, doesn't it, label anything for horses and double the price!
