Well, the move is done and 5 of my horses are here with me at last!!! I'm in Co Roscommon about 30 mins from Knock airport. I've got central heating now and a yard made for the horses...........lots more to do!! I've found hay supplier and limited feed........speedibeet!...........everything else so far seems to be mollassed ........I feel lots of internet ordering may be the order of the day. Neighbours are great,so helpful..............one took my old clapped out stove to the scrap collection point for me this aft. We've had mega foot probs though since the horses came across last year. We think them spending a lot of time in the lake on my sisters land is a major factor.................the three who didn't go in haven't got the problems.........separation mainly. Also the grass is poor so was probably high in sugars..............they are all yarded atm. I'm hoping to make a track and luckily i don't have a lake to fence off! ;D Soil here is neutral, phew and I'm sending off samples for analysis when the bloke rings back! Anyway that's all from Ireland for now.

Welcome Mandal... I'm in Waterford, many, many miles away, but still. Have a wonderful time and I hope their feet come right!

Hi mandal,
You know I live closer to Knock airport. Only 10 minutes. We live in the triangle Mayo, Sligo Roscommon.
Speedibeet is great! We use it mixed together with Alfa-A and pellets. You can buy it at the Co-Op. Garlic we get at the momenet from the UK as it s cheaper over there.
