Hi Steve and everyone. I live in Dundee. Steve, you wouldn't be the guy that helped the horses that got burned in Tealing. Heard he came from Fife and done really good work with them

Hi Steve, glad to see there are some folk in Scotland. Really looking forward to Gleneagles. I am currently in Edinburgh but hope to move to the borders in the medium term.

Hi major. Currently in Edinburgh but looking to move my horse down to Coldingham/Eyemouth area in the forseeable future. Would need full livery - is there much down there?

Hi Khan, I believe the going rate in Fife is £25 - £35 per week for DIY £180 upwards Please remember the old saying "you get what you pay for". Some yards are real good and some I cringe at when I visit. Take care Steve

Hi from Argyll. Gleneagles was fabulous, the show of course. New on here and glad to see there's a place for discussions in our area.

Hi all, from Fife, though I work in Edinburgh.
Was at Gleneagles too bought the Dually and am startign to train my wee boy with it. so far so good.
Khan, As Stevet says there are some dubious establishments around here, so visit and talk to the users of the yard if you can before you commit. Was at a good value yard before on Grass livery/haylege in winter for £65 monthly, but am no longer at that yard along with several others having just left for legitimate reasons, am now at another yard a wee bit more expensive £20 per week for grass and hayledge but so far so good.

Hello all. So few of us lumped together as "south Scotland"! I'm in Argyll. I travelled down to Gleneagles, it was absolutley fab, fell in love with montys horse. Imported from Germany he said, but does anyone know what breed it was?

Hello from Cumbernauld,
Another one here who thoroughly enjoyed Gleneagles, although I was volunteering. I was the nutter on the door who was scrutinizing all your wrists to make sure they had been stamped and double stamped! You would also have seen me at Montys signing stand at the interval and after the show directing folk in the right direction! All great fun and I look forward to next time.
