I am working on my psychology project and require a couple of not so well behaved horses or ponies (badder the better!) to observe in their own home 2-3 times / week for 3 weeks. The owner will be asked to keep a diary and I will not interfere or judge (unless asked for an opinion). In full confidence if prefered. On boarder of North Wales if possible please. Pm me with details please. Thanks, Kathy

Well I guess I should be glad there are no naughty horses in our area, but Lyn Dixon will go out of business if there aren't! My psychology project isn't doing too well either, I going to try the main board!

Ta, colourfulpony. I'm now looking for the worst horse in the world! When people say they have naughty horses and I go to see them, it ends up that they are a little quirky, young and full of fun or have a couple of management issues that with a little adjustment would lead to a very, very good horse! It is my project that has set out to prove Kelly wrong not me, I dread finnishing it and sending it in!!!!

Lol, H has proved the theory--she's been angelic since we haven't fed her carrots (or alfalfa). I'm sorry to say she's been gorfing chocolate buttons, cider, woodlice and even a bit of grass and she hasn't jumped on anybody in ages Actually, I've gone off carrots too.......I'm not any better behaved but I am a bit worried about what's in them now!

Yippee, I LOVE H! Hope you've been writing it all down Finn, for my project NOT H's book! Would you be kind enough to bring it along on the 26th to the H.C.M. please if you come? I wouldn't miss it, cassisjane is going to be painting Tobys insides on the outside. Sounds gross!! I think she has an intention of educating us about muscles and movement.
P.s. Doesn't really matter what H eats does it as long as she's a good girl, less bruises for Rohan!

We took her out today--she was pretty good except everytime she saw something scary she put herself between it and Rohan to protect him, then leaped on him because she was scared Cute, but...mad. We will be there! I didn't keep a diary for the sugar week...because she didn't do anything. We did three days of organic carrots after that and she was an utter NIGHTMARE so we stopped after three days. I didn't diary that either but we canwrite you a report The carrots seem to take some time to get out of the system--more than a week, definately

So a new project for someone, "The nativer the pony, the worser the carrot effect!"

Pheww, ta Catrin at least I don't have to study the extent of the carrot effect, this project is hard enough as it is. I wouldn't envy anyone who thinks you might be serious, taking you up on that one!
If you could write a report on sugar week and organic carrot week revisited, that would be fab Finn, thanks. Can you include a little about the aftermath too, please, did H's naughtyness decrease slowly and gradually? Did she go cold turkey/carrot? Would you still consider feeding carrots or not? Ha, do my homework for me!!!!! Hope JJ and your family are well.

Absolutely no carrots, ever, ever again. She's actually a really nice friendly pone ATM, and hasn't tried to flatten anybody for weeks

I'm stalking Michelle-Victoria, which is why I read this thread. But sorry, all mine are perfect ;D and I live in Northamptonshire.
Great project tho', I read the carrot stuff with interest and sadness. Mine love carrots and I feed them tons in winter - about 1/2 kilo each per day.

Shhhhh, Sue don't let it get out that you have perfect ponies that eat that amount of carrots, we'll both get struck off! Good to hear you have perfect ponies in Northamptonshire too, all the neds in Cheshire / North Wales are. It's a hard task to find bad ones for this blinking project!
P.s. who on earth is Michelle-Victoria?

Me. I'm not called either actually, as you know, but Sue calls me Michelle and Kelly calls me Victoria, so I've been officially re-christened I think. ;D

Oh. And do your family know this new version? It's just that when I call I ask for Finn and the person on the other end of the line always goes 'who?'!
How many alias' do you have? And why do you need so many?

WEll, I've got Simon trained now so at least he's got the idea of Finn. I'll have a bit of difficulty being Victoria I think Having said that my old school mates call me Rosie, my mother used to call me Polly, Simon calls me The Doctor, and Rohan usually calls me Mim or Mimsk. It's a bit like being a character from the Lord of the Rings. Except most of the time I can't remember what I'm really called either and I dread anybody asking because half the time I just go completely blank. ;D Having said that we have friends who think H is called The Evil Pixie and can't figure out who H is, so it's not just me
