Oooh brill. Have to sell this house first, though. Looking to buy place with stables/land in the Ashbourne, Derby, Uttoxeter kind of area and was driving around there at weekend - beautiful countryside. But I started worrying about - where do I get my shavings, hay, horsey gear - where are the shows, where are the bridle paths, etc. etc. Worrying already and not even moved yet! LOL! xx
Early days yet, but I hope you chaps will help me out when I get moving. Thanks! xx

I live about 13 miles west of Ashbourne Wozzer and even closer to Uttoxeter or Utcheter as we call it in these parts If you want to look at equestrian properties you might find www.bagshaws.com helpful

Anyone else go to the Bolton Gate sale today? I got loads of great stuff out of the £5 bargain bin - Mountain Horse jodhs, Musto top, Musto 3/4 trousers, Harry Hall top and fleece - all that for £25. Pretty good bargain hunting I think .

Hiya all
I'm also moving to your area shortly. I'm looking for a house to rent and livery yard this coming weekend. Our Yorkshire house is now sold and we need to move in the next few weeks. If you know of any good livery yards around cannock/stafford/lichfield/rugeley I'd be really really grateful. I'm going to need a vet too and feed/saddlery shops. Any recommendations?
Would love to meet up at some point.
Hope to see you around
Nic

My horse lives in Staffordshire (Gnosall) and i live in Telford (Shropshire).
If anyones into doing long hacks (3 hrs or so) then give me a pm - it'd be great to hook up.

Basilhorse...I know of a lovely yard but it may be too far towards Shropshire.

I'm in Biddulph, not far from Leek and Congleton - looks like there are quite a few on here not far from me I'm very interested in these saddleries, I don't really know of any in Staffs!
