I echo all other advice alivetnurse... I have two french trotters, Rose and Tila, after bringing them over from Swindon I stabled them overnight (we arrived home around 8ish), I thought it would be best for them to adjust to whats around them from the safety of there stable. At first as Sarah knows they were great with being in a stable... now its the complete opposite they are more than happy to stand in, they go out most of the day depending on the weather.. I have found them to have great temperaments... Rose is young and has her expected silly days, but generally they sensible and kind.. good luck, cant wait to see pics of yours, I havent been on here for a while so I didnt know about yours.. good for you..
