i keep popping in and looking at this section of the board. ive noticed that the threads for individual rescue horses are getting really long!!!
i was wondering as i LOVE to see pictures of all these lucky horses enjoying their happy new lives, if people could put some photos onto this thread so that its easier to see them? i dont always have time to go through long threads and keep up to speed with their progress!!
just a thought!!

What a good idea! Ok, this first photo is of Uge the day he arrived at my yard..... and this photo is of Uge a few months later.... and this photo is of Uge and my husband meeting for the first time! You can see what a wonderful nature he has just from his face. Uge is a wonderful horse. A little larger and older than I was expecting, but he is perfect in my eyes. A true gent. When he arrived he was a nervous old boy and hated it if you moved quickly. I had his teeth done, jabs, farrier etc and he behaved impeccably. Now he is living with my 39 year old pony and having a ball! They get on so well, its like it was meant to be.

Melissa it is almost impossible to believe just how poor Uge was looking at these photos. You have done an AMAZING job with him, you really have.
What a great idea SwallowsMum!

I'm a huge fan of Simple Systems too Melissa. But sorry, you are going to have to take some of the credit here. That is one very loved and cared for horse you have there, no question. You should be SO proud of yourself, the difference in Uge is just astounding. You must get so very much happiness from him, seeing him blossom like he has. I take my hat off to you.

I'm always popping in and out for news too but no-one seems to be looking anymore :-( Anyhow, I can't take much credit for my two except they are safe and well and happy (and prolly too fat!) Maybelline (who never did produce a foal and Maybe never will!) And gorgeous Libby

Flippin Heck, have only just noticed this thread, derrrrr!! Melissa, {You can see what a wonderful nature he has just from his face.} I take it you are reffering to Uge and not hubbys face! Heres pics of Lancia. When I got her: After she had finally let me untangle her awful dreadlock mane:

I don't know Melissa, hubbys face looks as though his nature is pretty good too! You wouldn't think Lancia looked stunning if you saw her today She is covered in mud and the flippin cheeky mare has learnt how to go UNDER the electric fence, lol Luckily she just got to another part of her field but very funny to watch a tonne of horse dipping under the wire ;D
