I'm so glas Ignis has found someone to love her, from what I've been told she's a lovely mare just wanting to be loved. Ahh, well the foal was found to be off form when his new home went to collect him so he has stayed put while he is treated as he's such a teeny boy - 1 month - but will be leaving to his new home in a couple of weeks. News of him just this morning was that he had perked up a lot :-)

Well done Gem. What a kind heart you have. I'm sure she will thrive under your car and love.
Good luck.

Thought that I'd just better clarify here, all very confusing now! Jen and I got mixed up I think,I had Jen down for the bay mare with foal and she thought it was the one with the coloured foal who was actually already supposed to be going somewhere else, however he is poorly and can't go.Anyway, for anybody that is still following this, the bay mares foal is also poorly and can't come to the uk either. All very confusing I know! There is a possibiity that if/when he recovers he and his mum could still be brought over, however I am out of funds,so all I can suggest is that if anybody wants to do a fundraiser then I would be happy to try and arrange something in a few weeks if he recovers? Also, there is one gelding left now without a home that is due to arrive uk on the 31st,his name is aguilatrois,chestnut,7yrs I think, looks like roxanne because Roxanne is not actually called roxanne but is called aguilaquatre!!! ( dont worry you are,i hope going to get the right horses, just the names that were wrong aka uge and lafun)So,anyway,if anybody can offer him a permanent loving home and has the expertise/time/facilities to take him the please pm me. All of the new owners will be signing a contract to say that they will not be breeding from or selling these horses unless they purchase them for the original price paid including transport. So if anybody wants a lovely chestnut gelding and can offer the aforementioned( plus a donation please!!!) the please pm me with your details and email address and I will get a pic to you. Hope that clears a few things up!!! Sarah.

Clear for me!! Sorry, thought you meant coloured foal. Good idea re contract. I don't know Aguilatrois's - or whatever his name is - history but from the photo he looks like a gorgeous horse, he has that look... those who fall for it will know what I mean :-)

Hi gem, that is so spooky - i was just viewing the 'Spanish Horses - Updated' thread and thinking how lovely ignis looked and wondering whether she had found a home and then read this thread. Really pleased for you ( and sky and diesel of course) and can't wait to see piccies and updates about her.

Hi Sarah Firstly, thank you for your generosity in saving some of these horses. Would it be possible for you to start a separate thread with a picture of aguilatrois and whatever info is available about him. If a suitable person doesn't come forward to take him on, I will do whatever I can to help find him a suitable home. I'm not really in a position to take on another horse at the moment. But there's no way given everyone's brilliant efforts to date that I'll rest till I know this poor 'boy' has a place to stay when he arrives on 31 July. Also, there is one gelding left now without a home that is due to arrive uk on the 31st,his name is aguilatrois,chestnut,7yrs I

I have butterflies in my tummy now too, I'm soooo pleased you have Ignis Gem as I needed to have a mare and Ignis ( i thought she was about 15hh ish?) and the Gelding as well as Aguila were on the list and I went for the pony having the children!
