Oh Yay, just my kinda horse! So happy that he seems settled already. Reckon you may have got him in the nick of time seen as he's in good condition he may not have stayed in France long before going to Italy! Doesn't bear thinking about!
Can't wait to come visit! (be warned, I will cry!)

gem tissues ready last update of the night, after going to see welshcobs horses i got back around 7.30 and he saw the car pull into the drive and when i got to the field he was looking and snickered like he sought of knew i was there for him, and he was waiting for his dinner he had his dinner outside (defo needs his teeth doing) with my two and then yard owners husband decided horses had to be stabled so i made up his big stable i brought otter in and jupiter was waiting for his turn he snorted at things going to the stable but never once pulled he was a bit unsettled in the stable (as my boys constantly whinned to him and he whinned back) i then put a trickle feeder in and he was happily kicking it around when i left i tell you what makes this so sad is this horse has obviously been well loved at some point he was waiting for his tea at a certain time and i hope he realises he is safe and home

am knackered didn,t sleep for worrying how he was getting on in isolation in his stable went up at 7am not washed or bushed my hair to see this huge horse waiting patiently for his brekkie ;D helen the yard owner had been out 5 times through the night and she was as worried as me but he was a dream he stood very still i brushed him did his feet and fly sprayed him i took him into his field and wow with a huge buck and fart he was off galloping around the field whinnying for my two, i then put them out and him and otter have taken a shine to each other they follow each other up and down the field and he once again went to his favourite pastime eating i am trying to stop babbling to him and trying to give his commands in french then follow by english but even though he was excited to go out this morning he never once pulled me he waited patiently for the gate to pen and then went back with a little push on his chest right off to work today or else i,ll have no money to keep him

He is really lovely and Im glad he is settling so quickly.
Do you have any idea why he and the others ended up at that horrible place?

well as usual he was a star for the vet and he has past everything with flying colours he was introduced to la polo mint and loved them she asked if he was okay to take his temp and i said it is up to her with the size of the bum but he stood a dream while she did it he was swapped for strangles (huge swap) and she deemed him fit enough to have his first set of vacs she brought 1 wormer and then suggested i get another due to his size he had his head in my hands the whole time falling asleep and he really perked up when the vet started talking french to him so she babled away and he had his ears pricked listening so we also had a quick french lesson

some piccies in his stable he is still a little worried and tends to rush but each day he feels more relaxed he is so funny he does a little dance on from foot to foot when he sees his boredom buster coming (it didn,t take him long to find out food was in it) and even though he really could take the door down he is so well behaved umm any sweets c,mon i know they are there
