I have got a pair of robinsons requisite thermal jodhs. They are great for the really cold weather. I think they were about £20. They are going a bit bobbly but at that price who cares!!!

I tend to always buy the Dublin cotton/lycra jods as these fit me well. They aren't particularly long lasting, but really comfy and warm. I prefer the ones with the zip to the pull on style.

Plusrider do a good range of jodphurs for the larger rider - also other stuff. I have a pair of their neoprene chaps which are good value. They are actually long enough - 36" inside leg makes length a problem!

hubby bought me a pair of beige (yesm beige!!) Caldene which where (thankfully) to short and they also bagged around the knees. He got me a pair of shiny black (I know, I know but he tried) Dublin jods and they too are not good. Waistband has lining which keeps rubbing and itching, also not long enough in leg whcih is a pain but he was told joddy makers no longer produce long lengths? All I wanted was 1 checked pair!!!
