so you issue is not with every child who hacks alone, because I teach children and the teaching proffession is fed up of the anger problems that come into school becuse children don't get enough adventure time these days, its a huge social problem and is runing schools and education. The entertain me whilst I mess around group of kids who can't work with other children and quiver with fear at any thing physical. Your upset about two particular children because in your opinion they can't ride.thats a bit uncalled for, to give a bit of back ground, tob has horses well for ever, the town they live near is one very narrow busy street with shops the only shops on the island, and the harbour is there too(fishermen toursts - busy) its the hub of everyones life on mull, not only isnt it safe because of the lack of tall enough barriers around the harbour, its just mayhem, maybe the quesion should be,"would you let your kids ride in a supermarket carpark on a weekend," think shopping centre car park ! thats how busy it is,just behind the main street is loads of moorland and very quiet rds you can ride as far or as little as you want to,most kids on mull lead a very outdoor live's
like the life we on the mainland used to live back in the day when it was safe,(so no quivering kids there)
tob is merly showing concern for kids on the island (most folk know most folk)to who she knows have only just got ponies
and were riding bareback which they arnt insured to do, i dare say i would have a concern with any kids riding in the main street,
in fear there ponies could take flight into the sea, or get hit by a car one of the main rds is extremly fast out of the town (like a by pass) i can totally sympathize with tobs concerns having seen what tobs town is like, these kids are not using the town to get from A to B , because the street only runs to the sea, and there is no shortage of places to ride on there beautiful island,
