I like Womble too.
I also like Buttons as it is a pantomime character and so fits in with this time of year and it was also the name of my first pony and he was super!
Or how about Humbug, Muppet, Moomin, Humphrey, Bilbo Baggins or Frodo. What is the name of the short beardy dwarf in Lord of the Rings? Is that any good?

I was just thinking about this whilst I was outside and I remembered.... Munchkin. ;D I call most small ponies Munchkin when I'm with them and it's quite catchy as other people I know have caught it off me.
