Oh she is just soooo gorgeous. I LOVE Icelandic's - if I lost 50% of my bodyweight I would have one without question! Will never forget seeing Amanda Barton and her lovely Iceland at Mark Rashid's Clinic at Patchett's last year - they started doing some lateral work etc and looked amazing.
Good luck with her PodkinPie, she looks and sounds fab!

She is beautiful. Do you have to teach them the tolt or is it a gait that comes naturally? I think they can take quite a weight. My Fjord could take any weight I think. Grown men used to rdie Shetlands when they were working ponies.

Thanks for the interest. We have had Elding for a couple of days now. She arrived looking beautifully clean and then it started to rain and rain! Unfortunately we didn't manage to get any photos then as we had a bit of a drama with the horse box getting stuck in the field. As soon as it dries up a bit the camera will come out or maybe before!(as it could be a long wait). She is absolutely lovely with a fantastic long white mane, long blonde eyelashes and the cutest little legs and hooves and is very , very fluffy. She has settled in quite well with the other four and seems to be rising in her position in the herd. She seems really interested in everything and everybody and shows no fear! Unfortunately the weather has prevented my daughter from riding her yet , but there's plenty of time. Photos soon.

Oh yes Holly she was very ,very expensive and will need to earn lots more pennies to try and pay it off. She was from Edda Hestar near Salisbury where Smudge's icey came from too. They were very helpful , but very expensive. We are definately in love though!
