Just another mention that theives are known to watch yards before theft so your horse could be seen while you are riding/tacking up & they have been known to go onto yards/fields & remove rugs & take the non freezemarked ones.
The moral to the story is GET THEM ALL FREEZEMARKED. especially coloureds but all horse/ponies/donkeys

No problem. We all need to do our bit to help each other. Could just as easily be one of mine & if that ever happened I'd want as many people as possible to help.
Fingers crossed for good news for you soon.

Im sorry but i dont think freezmarking them makes any difference, it doesnt put them off!
We've had countless horses stolen from us, some coloureds, some not.. ALL FREEZMARKED! If the spineless theives want the horse, they will take it regardless of a freezmark, padlock or chain- none of ours have been returned although we have heard about 2 of them still being in the UK but no luck- its been too long now and we can only hope they are being looked after!
Its sickening and so so upsetting for all involved, but what else can we do? We now have CCTV, Guard dogs AND Geese-so far, so good!! (Aside from catch the F***ers and beat them within an inch of there lives)
