Running New Forest Half Marathon for the Donkey Sanctuary

On 13th September this year (6 weeks from now!), I will be attempting to run the New Forest Half Marathon in aid of the Donkey Sanctuary. I was inspired to run for their charity because of their work in Morocco, with Ellen Cochrane. She is persuading the mule handlers to swap their cruel and sometimes medieval bits for nice headcollars (donated by Facebookers) and is teaching them how to work bitless and gently with their mules. The project has been so successful and it is wonderful to see the transfomations in the mules.
