Have measured his bone and think we may be straying into middleweight category.

Thank you sjb. Kafs I would like to show him as a lightweight show hunter, but not sure if he's too dressagey. SS3 will be able to confirm this hopefully when she appears. If not then it will be stressage for us. His sire is actually a grade A show jumper now in Germany. He.s the only British bred Trakehner stallion to be sold to the Germans as a stud horse. I'm suprised he's a light weight hunter, not that I know anything about showing, I'd have thought he was more middle weight! With his breeding are you going to try jumping? Got any shows lined up for this year yet, I seem to remember you've successfully shown him in hand as a youngster a couple of times. Wish I'd done that with my youngsters, but never got round to it, too many other things to do!

yes he is going to be a middle weight by the looks of it. No I wont jump him , hell either show or dressage. Think your thinking of Jennifire she showed her chestnut arab, Jenson a couple of times as a youngster, Mine hasn't been any where yet, and it will be next year before we go anywhere I think. He still has a lot of maturing to do as trakehners grow until theyre 7ish.

How do you think he will cope with going out and about? That's a lot of horse to cope with if his brain boils.

Thank you CBC, sadly his cat disappeared and never came back. Kafs, I honestly don't know how he will react. He's surprising things you think will bother him he's fine and other things he's a scaredy cat.
