Hallo lovlies.
I haven't been on here for ages, I'm not even sure if anyone remembers me, and here I am asking for help, oh the cheek! Hope nobody minds.
We're finally going to move, our house goes on the market at Easter and the agents say it'll sell quickly because of the location. Or do they all say that? We're in central Bath so it's desirable..funny what people desire . Anyway, so, the search is on for our new home. The Bearded Wonder (my OH) has changed jobs and can now work from home from anywhere in the Uk including Wales and Scotland and you'd think, wouldn't you, that finding the right property would be easy? All we need is a few acres for the horses and superfast whizzy broadband for himself to work from home. Happy days. But no. After searching the internet for months, looking at all those gorgeous rural properties for sale from Cornwall to Cumbria and beyond until I've gone cross eyed, it seems we can have either land or magically quick broadband, but not both. The stress! We've even had ROWS, and Beardy and I never have cross words, mind you, him saying '..if we get rid of the horses..' with a dismissive wave of his hand is bound to darken anyone's day. Ha, as if!! Although I still might need a new home for Gertrude the Standardbred (sorry, I'm not doing a cheeky advert, promise). It's just that if anyone knows of a property for sale that might be suitable please could you let me know? Budget of £360,000 or thereabouts. I'm up to date with just about every property on the 'net as of yesterday but maybe someone knows of one not on the market yet. Because the way things are going we're going to end up in a caravan on a layby with the horses tethered to a hedge. Thanks for reading.
