Sorry to be really boring but need some recommendations...
I've got a really good upright VAX vacuum which I love and is brilliant at picking up animal hair etc.
However, I would like to get a cordless handheld vacuum that has good suction, can deal with pet hair, get in to tricky corners/places, comes with some attachments and has a good run time (I know they vary between 10-20mins).
Does anyone have any recommendations on a decent cordless handheld vacuum?

I wouldn't mind one of the Dyson ones but OMG they are extremely expensive having looked at them online, one was over £150 and the other well over £200! There is a black and decker one which intrigues me but that is £100.
I guess you get what you pay for, I don't want to waste money on one that turns out to be rubbish.

Guilty has charged for owning a very expensive dyson cordless I think it cost me about £250 but I did by from a local hydro board shop & our wee town is notorious for over pricing, so if you hunt on line you probably get it cheaper -just don't post on here if its ridiculously cheap - it's run time varies depending on what attachment you use but for most its 20 mins. I love it, rave about it probably a little to much & don't think I could go back to a cord one now. It has tackled my horsey car, picks up pet hair and just in general does a great job. Doing stairs has never been so easy. I really detest house work especially hoovering but find hoovering less of a chore with this as your not having to lug it around and plug it in various places. Team Dyson...

Team Dyson... guilty over here too for having a cordless Dyson, we have stone stairs, high wooden beams, horsehair plaster on the walls and a dog!! it is brilliant!! for all of those things. I wish the runtime was longer it is about 20 minutes on a good day. Yes I hve to hoover the walls and the beams this makes it soo easy, instead of wobbling about with the upright (also Dyson soz) Big investment but!!!...... if you buy it from Argos you can easily get credit on it and if you do it with an Argos card (apply for one at the time) youdont have to pay anything for 12 months or you can pay it off bit by bit within the 12 months with no interest to pay Happy Hoovering
