Witha very heavy heart I have to tell you that Bumble went over Rainbow Bridge this morning. She was admitted to the vets yesterday as she was unwell, but sadly her kidneys had suffered damage and were beginning to fail, we still have no idea what caused it and possibly will never know as I have not let the vet do a PM on her.
Jackie thank you for the wonderful priviledge of letting me share my life with one of the most wonderful and loving dogs ever born. The 3 short years I had her was the best time ever. She will never be forgotten or replaced.

Oh Christine, I'm so sorry to read this. How heartbreaking for you. Awful as it is to lose an old canine or equine friend, the loss of a young 'un has to be just the worst experience ever for us who love them. xx

I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. Such a young age, too. My little JRT, Cracker, to kidney failure in May but at least he had enjoyed a long and happy life.

Well I have news............Jackie who bred Bumble asked me to consider taking a little rescue girlie, another BT who she has had at her house for a while now. Shes 4 years old, ex puppy farm and blue nad tan so a different colour completely to Bumble. Some people may think its too soon but I really need this little one, the house is far too quiet, I hate the silence, our other dog is constantly looking for Bumble, running up and down stairs, running out into the garden for her, its pititful to watch So on Saturday I will be going to bring the new girlie home she's not a replacement for Bumble as no one could replace her, she will always be my very special number one girl, but this little one needs a new home and I need a new doggy in my life..........I was humming and arring about taking her until Jackie sent me a picture of her and that was it........resisitance was futlie.

Hope it all works out for you Christine, we have waited months between dogs before, but when we lost our last dog in April it was only a couple of weeks before we got Midge, you know what's right for your situation. x

Christine, that's such good news, I'm so glad. I've never managed longer than three days between dogs, just always felt I had to fill that dog-shaped gap straight away. Good luck with your new little 'un, she is a very lucky dog. xx

So sorry to hear your sad news, and good luck with your new addition. No, they are all unique and can never be replaced, but we have love to spare to share with our animals, and get lots back in return. Sending big hugs. x

Just read this -sad and good news! Some dogs just leave a large hole when they are gone - it can never be totally filled but others come along who are different but still a joy. Hope you enjoy your new addition x P. S am writing this looking at a photo of my special boy who sadly died aged 4 - never replaced but boy he was fun!
