Settling down to watch the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. Not desperately interested in the sports (lack of equestrianism!) but the London Olympics were SO exciting and with it being just down the road (okay 150 miles down the road) in Glasgow and a couple of free tickets from my cousin, I thought it was too good to turn down. Actually really, really excited now. Wondering if my Olympics outfits are inappropriate (union flags rather than saltires)? Any DGers going to be at the games?

I feel really guilty. I've just been watching the medal tables on the commonwealth apps. It's been so warm and lovely and light in the evening, I've been at stables til late, then home and bed. Highlights have seemed pretty amazing. Rain forecast for Friday so looks like the weather will be just like the Olympics
