Well this is my last day in the office...hoooraaahh and tomorrow morning i'm hitching up my trailer and me and my boy are off down to Cheshire for 10 days to staying on OH's farm. He's well on with sowing the spring Barley now, castrating calfs, turning out cattle and bringing in more babies, I'll be helping out there, so plenty to do down on the farm!! I'll be taking my boy up the Bickerton Hills (National Trust Land) on some super duper hacks out while we are down there. It's a fantastic place to hack out on and the hill work will be great for us both! They have feral welsh ponies roaming around too which is interesting when you bump into them!!! The views are bootiful from up there though and well worth it all when you get to the top. On Easter Monday i'll be having a day out at Kelsall Horse Trials to watch the AI section of the Eventing. From the entries for this class, they have some of the Badminton Riders out giving their horses a warm up/run out i would imagine before the big one down in Bath... There's also a separate show for the Sports Horse/Hunters running alongside this event so it will be nice to see that too... Have a lovely Easter everyone....enjoy!

Thanks Karin...enjoy your lunch out on Friday with your friend. Are you being a good girl and just eating fish on Friday then??! There's nothing nicer than catching up with a good pal,..i did this last weekend and thoroughly with two horsey friends & thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we all aim to do it again in the near future.

Exciting amber.
I have non horsey visitors from tonight until sunday but I should be able to have a couple of rides. I have a lesson on Tuesday at a new venue so that's always interesting when taking a 5 yr old.
It's the weekend after Easter I'm really looking forwards to, having a half day session with a trainer who does classical dressage, free riding and lots of groundwork type stuff

Both sons and wives arrive for a long weekend - oh and dogs! Looking forward to it and being left with the lovely Millie the Moog (mini cocker) when eldest son and wife jet off on holiday. You see us aging parents do have our uses

I'm looking forward to seeing my OH for more than the time it takes to feed him and him get a shower. The job he's on is long hours and a 2+hr commute each way
