A good friend of mine runs a local small stud and is looking for a few nice mares to join her ageing herd, they would be well looked after, have access to stabling and 40 acres + it is a very experienced home too.
She is looking for mares over 15hh and under 10yrs obviously of good conformation, no hereditry problems but will take a horse that has sustained injury and can no longer work. She has her own stunning sports horse stallion, is looking for free or cheap to a good home.
She doesnt breed every year and the horses are treated as family friends. Most of her herd are 17-20 at the moment which is why shes looking for some younger blood.

I know of one not far away - proven brood mare but actually the reason why she hasn't been ridden was possibly teeth and they are sorted now. If you email me I'll pass it on to the friend who has her on loan at the moment

I may speak to you about this - with everything that has happened I may be left with no choice but to downsize my herd if I want a roof over my head. I have 2 well bred mares. Will text you when my head is clearer x
