Just wanted to pop in to say a very happy Christmas to all of my fellow dgers, the people connected to IH, all the staff and Kelly and Monty. I hope that this Christmas sees an uneventful time for everyone and their horses. Xx

Merry Christmas everyone. A strange yellow ball appeared in the sky today. I thought it was the Star of Bethlehem but someone said no stupid, that only comes out at night: the yellow globe is an even rarer celestial body called The Sun.

we did get a strange glow, i got all excited went to farm, caught storm and it went grey and the wind picked up - doh foiled. jan did you manage to eat any xmas dinner? merry christmas everyone. Yes thank you, I ate a whole plateful of it - took me 47 minutes but I ate the lot in tiny mashed-up forkfuls ;D ;D and sponge pudding too - yummy orange and cranberry pud, will definitely make that one again ;D. Had my jaw un-wired today, the procedure was excruciating (no anaesthetic this time) but it's such a relief to have the braces off. Surgeon muttered something about getting me to sign a disclaimer form when I mentioned having eaten Christmas dinner... . He also took the opportunity to say, while I was pinned to the chair with a pair of wire-cutters in my mouth, that this is usually the moment when people decide they're never going to ride a horse again. Luckily I couldn't say a thing ;D. Still on soft foods for a few weeks but we went to a nice cafe to celebrate and I managed lamb casserole and proper veg, not mush ;D ;D
